heh....so thats what all the roadwork is thats going on on VA 110.
When did they start this project? I'm going to have to assume this
was pre-9/11 knowing how long it takes to get the environmental
permitting and EIS stuff done.
The Rte. 110 reroute is post-9/11. I'm not even sure DoD had to do an
EIS. DoD has great leeway in many areas when it claims a National
Security exemption. Funny, the only EIS mentioned on the PenRen site
is Enterprise Information Systems. Interesting, as other things in
the project that don't relate to security, such as the cooling system
intake/outflow into the lagoon, probably needed an EIS.

WOW!!! We need to get the DoD involved in more highway
projects...this has to be one of the fastest projects i've ever heard
of....

surely Breezewood is a national security issue, eh? ;)
